MAN QUESTIONS, GOD ANSWERS Is salvation a present possession or a future reward? John 5:24, He tha& heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath (as a present possession) everlasting life (now note the negative side) and shall not come into condemnation tnow note the positive side) but is passed from death unto iife. John 3:18, He that believeth on Him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the narne of the only begotten Son of God. Reader, the above Scriptures prove conclusively that the believer is saved now, and the unbeliever is condemned already. JBIBLE TRUTlT Is the Bible to be taken literally? In Genesis 13:12-18 we read "Abram dwelled in the' land of Canaan . . . and the Lord said, Lift up thine eyes, and look . , . northward, eastward, westward, southward. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever . . . Arise, walk through the land ... I will give it unto thee." Gen. 17:8, "I will give it unto thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession." There are several other te-stimonies. Here we have a literal man, Abram, with literal eyes to "see"*the land; with literal feet to "walkw through the land; wandering as .3 "stranger" all over a literal land, Canaan, every item is plainly literal, simple, straightforward, cohld have no other meaning.
