Local Club P: "--res For New Season The time is again approaciiing when the popular -winter sport of indoor bowling will begin. The game has quickly spread throughout the country and the Levin C ab has endeavoured to foster it in this district. Visits were paid to Foxton, Koputaroa and • Moutoa with a view to establishing cluos in those places. Much enthusiasm was shown and this augurs weil for the successfui formation of an association in this district. Equ.pment had already been purchased by some clubs, which indicates .hej keenness of the people in those. places. ! The Levin club recently held a committee meeting to make hnai arrangements for the annual gen-
i eral meeting which is to be heirt in the Weraroa Hall on Tuesday, ( March 15, at 7.30 p.m. The committee decided to assist any other intending clubs in any way possible, and is prepared to give demonstrations by visits to my intereste-d organisations. The committee also intends to bring l'orward its annual meeting recornlnendations for the improving oi the playing surface and light ing arrangements, and methods of assisting members in travelling coots to other c'ubs.
