Coaching Film Of Interest To Cricketers

The Horowhenua Cricket Association has arranged for the screening of the New Zealand cricket coaching film at the College Hall, Levin, on Wednesday at- 8 p.m. This film has received praise from the M.C.C. and other overseas associations. The narrator during the film will be none othQi' than Mr. Cnarlie Olliver, double All . Biack. An hour's lecture on umpiring, etc., will be given by Mr. M. F. Pengelly, one of Wellington's leading Plunket shield umpires. The-'- committee of the Otaki Cricket Club invites all membeijs ' and any persons interested in this function to meet at the Cpunc'il Chambers, Otaki, at 7.15 p.m. on Wednesday evening^ A charge or ls 6d will be made to cover the cost of the film, and any interested are asked to contact Messrs. T. V. Cahill, J. Bartosh, H. Heatherwick or H. Rice so that suttable transport may be arranged.
