Loca. marching teams were in evidence, with the Otaki Band assisting them in their preparation for forthcoming important engagements. Cricketers were also present, indulging in a friendly game, while^' to the delight of young and old alike, feveral trials were staged in corihection with the forthcoming greyhound races, to be held on the domain on Saturday next.
