Championship Awards At Masterton Show
MASTERTON, Feb. 18. The Masterton show opened at Solway today in fine~ weather and with a good attendanee of the public. Entries ,iotal 2679 compared with 2566 in 1947 wheu the last show was. held, there being 110 show last year on aecount ot polio. The nuinber of sheep (532) was snghtly less than in 1947. Oattle (326) show an increase and horses (802) a decrease. The. show will be officially opened tonrorrow' by Mr. A. R. Outler, v.o: ■ Championship Awards. Romney Marsh (natural condition): Karu, H.
