Souvenir hunters who have visited the wreckage of the airliner Kaka, which erashed on the southern slopes of Mount Ruapehu on October 23, are gradually removibg the aircraft. piecemeal. The fuselage, however, is still in recognisable condition. \ Tacked on the door at Salt Hut, on the n'orthern side of Mouijt Euapehu, is the Kaka's nameplate.
