Umbrella Caught in Piston Of Engine
NEW PLYMOITTII, Feb. 17. Abrasions and shock were siifferod l).Y Mrs. 11. Renwick, of Kakahi, when her upraiscd umbrella was caught in the piston of a locomotive slovvly liauling a train through Kakahi station. It is thought that she did not liear the loco- 1 motive approacliing. When lier um- I breila was caught by the piston she was thrown to the ground but Ihe train , stopped after she had been dragged about iive vards. >She was placed aboard the train and taken to Taumavunni where she was admitted to hospital.
