HORO WHENUA COLLEGE EVENING SCHOOL: £VENING Classes will commence on Tuesday, February 22. Enrolments will be taken at the College Office on Friday, ' February 18, from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., and on Monday, February 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students who attended: in 1948 must re-enrol if they wish to contlnue this year. No enrolment is earried over from 1948. FEES: Except for a maintenance fee of 2/6, payable by all students, classes are free to -(a) Students up to the age of 19 years taking an approved course of two subjects. (b) Anyone over the age of 19 years who has not had five years' free Post Primary Education. In this case, enrolment for one evening is sufficient. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES: Tuesday: Cookery Dressmaking Woodwork Bookkeeping Commercial Practice Shorthand-Typing (Junior) 4 Mathematics - Thursday Art Dressmaking Woodwork Accountancy Shorthand-Typing (Senior) English Drama If sufficient enrolments are available, a class in Outdoor Sketching and Landscape will be held on Friday afternoon from 1.30 to 3.30. * Classes in' other subjects can be arranged on a minimum enrolment of 6, provided suitable instructors*are available.
