INVERCARGILL, Feb. 18. Fdf famiiy and business reasolls, Mr. J. Ralph fiahan, Nationalist member for Invercargill, has decided not to contest the seat at the next General Eiection. In a statement, Mr. Hanan skid he had advised the exfeCutive of the Invercargill braiidh Of the party that he would not sebk re-electidh, but would continue to devote his full time to all his political duties until the end of the present parliament. _ Mr. Hanan is a partner in a legkl flrrn in the city and Was returrted "s member for invercargill in "the 1946 election, unseating a LaboUr ndidate, Mr. Denham.
