The official report issued by tlie Christchurch Woolbrokers ' Associ'atiou in conjunction with the Xew JZealaud Woollmyers T Association and New Zealand Wool Disposal Cbinmission. says tlie seeond main Christchurch wooi sale was held today and a catalogue of over 30,000 bales was oll'ered. The selection consisted of average to good witli a fair proportion of super styles, although tlie bulk of the oifering was showing signs of dust. A full bench of buyers attended the sale but competition was not animated except for super and specialty iots. ijocal iuills werc keen to procure their usual suppjles and most of tlie clioicest lines fell to their bids. JMost of the lots were soli at auetiou and there wore few xiassings. l'rices for hue halfbreds and Merinc were very • liriu. Medium and strong halfbreds were irregular and consider alilv ^rasier than in Deceinber. Crossbreds appear to be on a par with recent Xorth' Island saies. All classes of piece woois, especially iine qualities, made very salisfactory priees.
