British Army's First Peacetime Journal
Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 16. Although the British Army sponsored many publications during the war, it never so far has had its own offieial magazine in peacetime. Tliis deficiency Jias now been remedied with Ihe* publi cation of the first issue of "The British Army Journal," which will in f'utur» appear monthly under the direetion ot the War Office. The establishment of the journal i.largely due to the Chief of the Imperiat General Staff, Field-Marshal Rir Wil liam Slim, who eontributes the fore ward to the first issue. This numbei features artieles by both ofiicers anc men inciuding some offieial statonient: on poliey. One artiele gives a tisefu summary qf information about tlv atomie bomb and another- deais with problems of the Territorial Army.
