CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 16. The Waipua kauri forest was one of the wonders of the world and it was imperative that it should be preserved intact in its virgin state. Expressing this opinion, Dr. P. Dansereau, Ecologist with the university of Montreal, who is in Christchurch for the Pacific Science Congress, said that New* Zealand owed it not only to herself but also to the rest of the world to see that the fonest was preserved.
