Gandhi's Assassin's Appeal Against Convictions

Received Tuesday, 9.40 a.m. NEW DELHI, Feb. 14. All but one of the seven Hindu extremists convicted of Mr. Gandhi's murder have appealbd against their sentences. Nathram Vinayak Godse, who fired the shots, has appealed against his conviction for conspiracy, but not against the murder conviction for which he was sentenced to death. The extremist who did not apneal is Shankar Vistayya, who was sentenced to transportation for life.
