Reeeived Friday, 7 p.m, LODDON, Feb. 11, Fifteen leaders of the United Evangelical Churches in Bulgaria havt ))een arrested on charges of espionage. hiackmarket operationS and other ahti-' Btate ac'tivities, says the Associated Press Sofia correspondent. They were rharged with inciting a foreign State V to hostile aetivity against Bulgaria The indietnicnt also said the aeeuseci spread runiours of a forthcoming wa> between the United States and Soviet Ilnion and of the atomie bonib danger to Bulgaria. They were also aecused oi receiving, money from a foreign eoup try which'' they sold on the black rnarkot, theroby violating the foreign f-urrency law. Foreign Minister Vladmir Topeneharov said the cluirch leaders were arrested in December and would probably be* tried at the end of this month. He said the inain charge against them wa? espionage for Britain and the Vnite. Kiates and sonie of them had alreadv eonfessed.
