Baby's Body Found In Old Deed Box

AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. The decomposed body of a newly born infant was fonnd when an old iron deed box was opened at the Auckland morgue before the Coroner and poliee ofiicers. Death apparently took place two.. years ago. An inquest will be opened when the poliee have made further inquiries. The owner of a block of flats at Onehunga noticed a smell which he traced to some lnggage in the bascment. He communicated with tne ormer ami thcy were removed. The matter was reported to the poliee who interviewed a woman. She is stated to have given them a paekage wrapped in old sheets, which proved to be an old iron deed box.
