QWING to the continued ;dry weather and the unnecessarily heavy demands on the water supply, the attention of all consumers is drawn to the By-Laws whereby: — 1. Hosing is prohibited unless a person shall be in charge thereof and actually holding the hose in his hand; during the time it is being used. 2. Hoses must not be left running unattended, day or night. 8. All wastage, in the form of leaking taps, ball-cocks, and other fittings, must be eliminated. The above matters are principally the causes of the present shortage of water. There is ample supply for the reasonable use of all.
