MANILA, Feb.v &. ■ Fire swept througli the town of Cotabato in Central Mindanao for eight hours today razing the entire business! distriet and destro'y'ing two-thirds! of th e ' ihy ' which has a population! of' l2(),6D'0. Ten thousand people are homeless. The property damage is estimated at 4,000,000 dollars. There was onlyone casualty, Tliomas Conway, a Catholic priest, being burned to death in the convent. The Mayor of the city' has asked the Government and Red Cross for aid in feeding and sheltering the honieless.
