Ultra-violet rays from the sun manufacture Vitamin D in the skin. They tone up the skin and benefit the blood. While most suntan oiU or crearns help you tan safeiy by filtering out some of the ultra-violet rays, you may still get sunburn if you stay too long in direct suniighfc.
