Successful Athlete Ian Mudge, the Otaki athlete who representea We lington againsu Christchurch at the Basin Reserve on Saturday, won the junior mile event and finished tnird in the 8u0 yards. Card Evening The second of a series of six card eVenings was staged in lhe Textiles Social Hall on Friday night, when tnere was a fair attendance. Prizes were annexed by Mesdames W. Bailey and N. Flyger, and by Messis. K. Hakaraia and A. Prentice. A competition was won by Huia Cootes.
