The" Commigsioner of Taxes draws the attention of taxpayers to.the notification appearing in today's issue that the due date of payment of income tax is on Wednesday, February 9, 1949. Five per cent. additional - tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or . before March 2, 1949. Ihe demands will be posted -on or about February 2, 1949. Demands piust be presentedl with all payments, and if a demand j has not been received the taxpayex should hotify the superintendent of fhe office of the Land and Income Tax Department where his reeords are filed.
