■WELLINGTON, Jan. 27, .The borough of New Plvmouth is now a city. The proclamation of the new city appearing 111 tonight 's Gazette states that, in response to a petition and in view of the fact that- the population of Ndw Plymouth is not less than 2-0,000, the borough has been pro claim ed a city under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933.
