An unfortunate accident befell ] Murray, the two-year-old son of ■: Mr and Mrs. J. A. McMurtrie, of - Gladstone Road, Levin, on Wednes- ; day evening. He was p'aying near ] the pens while his father was work- 1 ing a mob of sheep and, unobserved, ] climbed on to a loose gate standing •, against the pen railings. This 1 overturned, pinning the little boy • beneath it until his father releas- : • ed him. He suffered a fracture of j the right leg above the knee and, - after receiving medical attention, was taken to the Palmerston Northr ^Hospital. i : - h
