Paraparaumu triumped over Otaki on Saturday in a Mexted Cup contest. Both clubs won two games each, but the balance. of points being in Paraparaumu's favour gave them the decision. Results, Otaki players being mentioned first: Walsh 25 v. Pattersen 17; Merwood 8 v. Milburn 24; Baker 14 v. Young 22; Eaton 17 V. Stone 16; Otaki 2 games, 64 points; Paraparaumu 2 games, 79 points. Eight rdhks from Otaki will visit Karori on Saturday. The bus will leave the green at 8.45 a.m. and the * following rinks have been selected: Cole, Jenkins; Wint'erburn, Pike (s) ; Whitelaw, R. Young, P. Simcox, Grey (s) ; Moss, Snowden, S. Simcox, Hughes (s) ; Gordon, Lambess, Knox, Kearns (s) ; Buxton, Heath, Barron, Southgate (s) ; Atmore, Avery, Hurrell, McGilligan (s) ; Te Puni, Evans, Bartosh, Temuera (s)y Kendrick, D. Noble, Olliver, Merwood 0s). An all day tournament is set down for February 5 on the Otaki Club's green.
