Injuries Suffered When Cars Collide

DANNEVIRKE; Jan-/ 24. Four people were injured, one seriously, when two cars collided on a ■ straigkt road six miles south of Dannevirke yesterday. They were: — Lilian Ellis, aged 10,. concussion, fractured arni and lacerations; condi- ■ tion serious. John Robert Ellis, aged 13, lacerations and possible fracture of the akull; . condition satisfactory. William Ellis, of Dannevirke, lacerai tions ;* condition satjsfactory. Cyril Gordon Robins, Hawera, injury to neck and concussion; condition satisfactory. All except Ellis were admitted to the Dannevirke Hospital. The aceident occurred when Ellis was attempting to pass a inotor-cyele. He collided with a car driven by Mr. W. D. Dyson, of Hawera. Other passengers escaped injury.
