Health Inspector's Report
The health and sanitation inspector (Mr. W. J. Guinan) present-^ ed his report for the three months ended December 31 to the Shannon Borough Council at its fortnightly meeting on Tuesday evening. Mr. Guinan reported that he had carried out four inspections of habitations, which included dwellings and hotels, and one requisition Was _ servedi. Five food-selling premises had' been inspected and one requisition served. Six samples of milk and one of water had been taken. Routine inspections had been carried out of the night soil and rubbish dumps and an inspection made of the cemetery. A complaint about dead stock had been attended to and the condition of drainage, etc., the newly-construct-ed State house units had received attention. Other minor details had been attended to The report was adopted by the council.
