Trotting Appeal Is Dismissed
CHRISTCHURCH, 'Jan. 20. The dismissal of the appeal by A. F. C. Rushton, owner of Bonny Scott, against the decision of the stipeadtlarj itewards at the Canterbury i'arK 'L'joi ting Club's meeting on January 1, iu rlisqualifying Bonny Scott for lirst ^lace in the Islington Handicap, was innounced today. The appeal judges ,vere Messrs C. P. Agar, R. E. Booker ind W. A. White. The hearing of the appeal began on Yednesday evening and was continued oday. Thc decision of the judges was: ' That after considering tlie evidence Lnd after hearing Mr. W. R. Lascelles, ounsel for ap[)ellant, wc, by a majorty, are of opinipn that the appeal hould be dismissed in.view of all eviduice and in all thc circumstances.
