Weekly Sports Marred By Weather
The weather having cleared following showers during the afternoon, a good proportion of officials and competitors attended at the Otaki Domain on Wednesday for the weekly evening sports. Spectators were very sparse early, but as the modified programme progressed, quite a number arrived. The going was heavy and very slippery, and not much was attempted in the way of cycle events. Following a spill in which three riders were eliminated during the running of the three mile event, cycle races were abandoned for the night. Results were: — Boys' 75- yards.— J. Dakin 1, L.
