; WELLINGTON, Jan. 2Q. „ - A Drivers' stop-work meeting in Wel.lington on January 28, would in effect consider a completely new set of elaims for a new a ward, said the secretary of the Wellington Drivers' Union, Mr. T. M. Magee, today. He added that pro-. .eeedings for a new award had broken down in the conciliation stages last month. Stop-work meetings for country drivers had been called for January 31 in Masterton and Februai'y. 4 in Palmerston North. . The union would pro-x vide transpor^ for drivers from smaller out lying centres like Martinborough, to attend those meetings. . .Tlie drivers affected by the decision do not inelude =omnibus or local body drivers who nxa coyered by separate awards.
