An interested 7 spectator was Mr. Walter Langmead, an English breeder. j As far as top prices were concerned | yesierday's market was definitely ! htrc-nger, exceeding last year's best [ rii e of 800 gns. and tlie record price .of 1000 gns. obtained in 1944. A mat-n-r of 220 stud Romneys was offered iiut really outstanding rams were not plentiful and operators desiring the nest. blood offering were not concerned to the price tliey paid.
