First Croquet Match For Lett Brooches
The -first croquet match for the Lett Brooches was played last week between Mesdames Gilmore and Findlater and Mesdames Pine and Boulton. Tlaese brooches are for A players and all matched are played as doubles. The 'first game was a very interesting oue to watch as Mesdames Gilmore and Findlater sooh gained an easy lead. over their opponents and appeared to be certain winners. However, Mesdames Pine and Boulton ; made a good reco very • and succeeded in winning'the mate'h 26—22. At the conclusion, Mrs"! W.' Lett presented the -brooches to the '.winners and expressed the hope that they would have many pleasant games for them. . The Kirk Cup singles are being played off and so far three games have been finalised.
