Marching Girls Face Busy Season

Girls marching teams are going to be kept busy for the remainder of the season, as participants in this heaith-invigorating sport will hav;: _ trie opportunity of taking pait contests nearly every Saturday from now. Upper Hutt ushered in the first of the New Year contests last Saturday, and these will be followed by Palmerston North Scotch Thistle Society 's championships on .Janu-ar-y 22. Following this will be Hutt VbTey at Petone on January 29, Wellington on February 5 and' an own choice contest at the Woodville Bliow the same day. Waikato Centre also hold its championships at Hamilton on this date arid they in:lude a team's relay and Miss Waikato contest on the programme.
