WASHINGTON, Jan. 17, The Bikini atomic explosion left fish in that area "going on essentially as if nothing had. happened." e Dr. Leonard Schultz, Curator of Fishes of the United States National Museum, stated this in a report to the Smitksonian Intsitnte. The scientist said the "same species of fish and other marine organisms were found in about the same abundance as before., and there appeared to be no noticeable- deeline in vigour." He said many millions of fish doubtless were killed, "but there was slight, effeet on species."
