Reeeived Tuesday, 7 p.m. LOXBON, Jan. 18. The main points in the new Communist poliey which, it is expeeted, will be adopted by the national exeeutive of the British (■oinmunist Party at the end of next month, include the overthrow of the British Labour (Tovernment and the substitution of a predoniinantJy Left Wing administration, the development of Communist infdtration in trades unions, workshops and factories, and the extension of Communist representation on Joeal bodies. Copies of this programuie are already in the hands of the council of the Trades t'nion Uongress and are being, studied by it. ^ Reviewing the progress made by Comimiuism during the past year, the Manchester ttuardian in a column and a half leading article, says there is no Jonger any pretence that the general world Communist poliey is not organised from Russia. "Tliough Stalin may appcar in the popular mind as a genial pipe-smoking 'Uncle Joe,' he is also a fanatical tlie'Oretician whose writings have more literal authoritj* than the authorised version of the Bible ever had," says the Gfuardian. Whatever ambigUQus sentenees Stalin may throw out to Western interviewers (tliough he does not include these in liis writings published in Russia), he holds to these prineiples, and the actions of the Cominform in the past IS nionths, are an application of them." The Guardian warns that temporary ' ' live and let live aeeommodations ' ' Avith the' Russians are dangerous _ and points out tliat reeent' Conimunist suceesses in Europe and the I^,r East, have already encouraged a marked aceeleration in the general tempo of Communist activity all over the world. The new poliey for British Communists is an example of this."
