When the figures for' the entries in the show were released by. the association this morning, it was seen that only two sections had not eclipsed those in the 1947 show. These are the pig classes and exhibits from schools. ' All other sections show a considerable. increase. The most noticeable ri'se is in the horses and competitions where the entries are far . in advance, of the 1947 figures, despite the fact that the -.latter include post entries.
