Salmon Season
boumern angiers antxcipate an early salmon fishing season this year. . Salmon have been seen in the surf at the mouth of the Waitaki River, and in previous seasons this has been an indication that there would be a run of fish in the river three weeks later. Although early runs have occurred in the last two seasons, before that runs did not begin until' late in February.
