They ehased tliem down • to Yivian Street where oue of the men continued straight ahead and the otliers made ofl down Marion Street. These three rau into an alleyway about 20'yards down the street and the boys surrounded the bJock to ensure coverage of all exits. Several of the boys went down the alleyway and tliey'noticed^one of the men plant something while the other two made off. One of the boys retrieved the wallet and some letters written in Chinese from garbage against the fenee. The man who planted the wallet rau into' Marion Street and ti]) Vivian Street where he met the man who had remained there. They attempted to mingle with passers-b.v but were soon spotted and a])prehended by thb poliee who by then had been notified.
