Mr. Walters left to pii'.k iip pjwyftsh pots. His ''boat was powered by a small outboard motor and it is feared the boat may have overturned in the heavy seas or that the motor became disabled. An unsuccessful seaT^ of the area was made by a Catalina air-sea rescue aircraft which left Hobsonville at 3.45 p.m. and returned at 6 p.m. today, The eaptuiu of the aircraftj ' Flight ' Lieutenan.t P'.
