The largest trout taken at Taupo for some years — a 12£-pounder — was caught at the Western Bays by Mr. C. Rausden, of Te Awamutu. Fishing at the rip at Waihaha, the party took the limit on three days. The fishing both in rivers and the lake continues to improve and there have been many; limit catches of fish in excellent condition. '
