Among the various competitions which will be held by sports, bodies in the Horowhenua on Saturday wiil be the following. Cricket Senior: Foxton v. Otaki, at Otaki; Shannon V. Levin, at Weraroa; Paraparaumu v. Weraroa, at Levin Park Domain No. 1; College v. Old Boys, at College. Junior: College A v. College B, at Levin Park Domain No. 2; Kuku v. Foxton, at Foxton; Otaki, a bye. Tennis B grade: Levin B v. Koputaroa, at Ihakara; Manakau v. Foxton, at Foxton; St. Joseph's v. Shannon, at Shannon; Otaki v. Te Horo, at Te Horo; Weraroa, a bye. No C grade matches have been set down for this Saturday. The second round in this competition will commence on January 22. The Levin Club will play the second round of the president's itrophy. Bowling Both the Central an'd Levin Bowling Clubs will play friendly j matches this Saturday. Softball Men's A grade: Pirates v. Ajax, Cambridge Park, 1.30 p.m., Mr. Truman; Achilles v. Achilles, at Cambridge Park 2 p.m., Mr. Lacey; Otaki Colts B v. Kimberley, at Kimberley 2 p.m., Mr. Guy; Punahau 'v. Midgets, at Cambridge Park 1.30 p.m., Mr.jSkilJon. Ladies: Wanderers v. Aces A, at Otaki 1.30 p.m., Mrs. Hearfield; Tuis v. Kotahitanga, at Cambridge fcark 3 p.m., Mr. J. Gardiner; Punahau v. Raukawa, at Otaki 3 p.m., Mrs. Gardiner. .
