Improved Air Mail Between Britain And N.Z.

AUCKLAND, Jan. 7. The air mail services between Britain and New Zealand have improved greatly during the past month. In Deeember no more than seven days elapsed between the time of departure from Britain ac arrival in New Zealand. Mostly, the time was six days. Before Deeember air mail letters often took as long as twelve days to get to New Zealand. The reason for the spee'd-up is the change-over of B.O.A.C. flying boats to Constellations on the London-Sydney service.
