Judge Fines Himself For Being Drunk

NEW YORK, Jan. 5. The sitting of the circuit Courts at Harlan, Kentticky, had to be suspended. yesterday because of the unufeual behaviour of Judge Cleon Calvert. When the Court opened today Judge Calvert appeared on the Bench and said, "I fine myself 10 dollars for being drunk yesterday, and I want to see that put on the order book." The Court sitting then proeeeded normally. The elerk of the Court said afterwards that members of the regular jury panel had paid the Judne 's fine.
