Received Friday, 10.40 a.m. , LONDON, Jan. 6. | Queen Juliana, in a broadcast from The Hague today, said she Ijoped that an Indonesian Federal Government would be established within a lew weeks as a mamr stef on the way to the formation of the sovereign United States of Indonesia. The Queen said that the military action was in no way intended to break tlie pledges which her mother und the Netherlands people as a whole had given. "The New Federal Government will, without delay. have to take fur.ther measures 1o prepare for the transition from the old to the new constitutional order, and for the establishment of Ihe latter. -As part of these measures, it wiil, in agreement with representalives of the Crown, organise free "lee.lions in Indonesia as soon as cireumstances permit. Thus, a sovereign United States of Indonesia wiil become a reality. Indonesia «uui Ihe Netherlands will then join in a union to harmonise their ell'orts and energies for the sound fli-velopment of the two coimtries, and for the benefit of world prosperily. Then the basis for a better and happier future, such as was i nvi.saged by my mother, will have been laid."
