Burton, and a political counsollor, Mr. C. T. Moodie. Their maia objective would be to explore means bv which United Nations, and the Security Uouncil in particular, could assist in bringlng about in Indonosia a specdy, just and lasting settlement of tho present dispnte. Alr. Dodman added that if before the conference was convened, the Security Uouncil acted in suoli a wav as to make unnecessary this rogional consultation, the decision of the (Jovermnent might be. changed.
