Alan Jackson, aged 18, of 183 Brougham Street, Sydenham, Christchurch, was killed instaiitly at 11 o'clock today when a rifle- he was examining was aecidentally diseharged. Jackson, who was camping with three eompanions near Arrowtown, deeided to go shooting and had just closed the rifle when the accident occurred.
