Aleanwhile, Republican sources in Batavia say that, aecording to reports reaching them from private channels, a pre-planned scheme of guerrilla operations is now being put into effeci widely witli the intention of„ preventing Dutch attempts to restore ■ norma, economy and production. In this man ner, it is suggested, they hope to prove to the world the impossibilitv of tappiug Java's economic wealth without Republican cooperation. A Dutch Army communique today reports the surrender of 109 former Republican otiicers in Jogjakarta.
