Picture Benefit Yields £51
The Otaki War Memorlal treasurer, Mr. H. B. Edhouse, advises that' a cheque for the substantial sum of £51 has been received from Otaki Amusements as a donation towards the War Memorial fund. This amount represents the proceeds from the recent picture entertainment.' The staff of the Civic Theatre added their wages for the night to the donation, making the total benefit to the fund in excess of £53. '
