Unusual Mishap Causes Man's Death
AArELLIXGTOX, Dee. 14. A man was fatally injured when he was cimslied between tlie chassis and tray of a tip tr-uck at J. T. Shanks Shingle Rupplies Ltd., Lower Hutt, this afternoon. He was: — AIR .TOIIN THOMAS SHAXKS, aged 50, 8 Hathaway Avenue, Lower Hutt. Alr. Bhanks was working under the trap of the tip truck when .the tray suddenly loAvered trapping him between the chassis and tray. Ile was dead 'before he was released. AJ r. Bhanks was a oiafried man with a family. Ile was a director of .7. T. Rhanks Ltd.
