Attacked in Street and Robbed

AUCKLAND, Dec. 12. After being attacked by three assailants in Nelson Street, city, shortly after 9.30 on Saturday night, a man was dragged into a right-of-way off the street and robbed of his wallet containing £7. The victim was Mr. Thomas Renton, aged 64, labourer, of Vincent Street, city. Mr. Renton was struck several blows before he fell to the ground in an uneonscious condition. Subsequently he was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering coneussion and abra- . sions.
