(8) TWO WAYS (Continued) Traveller: What do all those people do when they assemble up there on that "Christ Acceptance Road"? Preacher: Well, you see they are so thrilled with the new life they have received, and the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom they have been brought to know and love, because of His love to them, in coming all the way from Heaven to earth to die for them, so that they might go to Heaven, and what it cost Him, His life's blood, sufferjng and death, for their redemption, and the wonderful place that they are going to, they cannot help talking to one another about it,*and praising and thanking God for His wonderful "gif.t." Traveller: Gee, that's wonderful.
BIBLE TRUTH Is the Bible to be Taken Literaily? In Micah 5:2 we read this prophecy — "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little . . . yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel." Everyone admits this refers to the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem centuries later, even King Herod the Edomite believed it; it is accepted by modern "Christians" as literal. Now in verses 4r6 the same speaker continues without a break: "He shall standi in the strength of the Lord . . . shall be great unto the ends of the- earth . . . deliver us from the Assyrian when He cometh into our lqmd." This is just as plain and literal, same speaker, same discourse, and means that Jesus will conquer and rule this earth. But the "Christians" who believe verse 2 to be literal, want to make verses 4-6 teach that Jesus reigns in heaven, but "EARTH" does not spell "heaven." Free literature setting forth the literal truth of the Bible, in contrast to the fables of christendom, sent to, any address on application tp H. nW. Chrlstie, McDonald Road, LeviiL x i
