SOME TIT-BITS FROM THE COURSE • ' r (Special^ — From L. M. M.) OTAKI, Dec. 10. The OuaKi course is in magnificent order for tomorrow. Lowry Bay looks . particulai/y well and has heen revelling in his work. A win for the old fellow would be popular. Lady Myrtle should not be long reaching the winning list. Slie is very well and might score in the hack six tomorrow. Mierangi, trained at Levin, is to appear in Maiden events. She gives tne impression of having had a good preparation and might be, prominent in the first division. Royal Cambria has been working attractively and is regarded as a lightweight prospect in the Huia Handicap. The class, how- ' ever, might be- a little too strong. ! The locally trained . Avenger looks well after winn'ng at Woodyille and- appeals: strongly ' as a good prospect ''in the Te Horo Hack. Sir Denzil gives the 'impression of not being far from his best and •should race well tomorrow.
